Label Wizard question

This follows on from my previous post about label printing. Can anyone tell me if this is correct:

I've created a standard address label on the wizard. The labels to be used are Avery 4011 continuous feed to a dot-matrix printer.
When I run the report with for example five different labels, in print preview it shows each label on a separate page rather than on the same page. Is this correct?

As I'm still trying to fix the printer driver (from previous problem) I have no way of knowing if the labels will print one after the other or if there will be a gap due to the blank space.

What version of Access are you using? If 2000, go to Tools - Options - General Tab, and uncheck "Perform name AutoCorrect". Then... rerun the label wizard to make a new "report".

I was having a lot of trouble with labels working for a brief while and then doing things that you are describing because of this very problem (known bug with A2000). However, I've never tried to print labels from Access with a dot matrix printer, so the print settings may also be involved.

Good Luck.

It's Access 2003. I tried what you said but hasn't made a difference. The labels look fine when I choose a sheet rather than continuous. I guess I'll have to use that option.

If you have any other ideas please let me know.

Thanks for your help.
