Sum of Record Fields

P: 72
Hello Everyone,

I have fields that get assigned a numerical value and I need to be able to do a sum of these values for each record. It sounds simple but I'm not having any luck. I read where Access 2007 has this function but I haven't had any luck with it while doing a query.

The fields are as follows

LegalReq
AirImpact
WaterGround
Land
Resources
HealthSafety
Community

I've been trying to put it in an expression but I don't even think I'm near on it.

Thanks

I was looking along those lines but had it wrong. I'll try yours and sure it'll work.

Thanks

Well that worked with one exception. It gave me a total of all the records added together for those fields. I need it broke out for each individual record.
