Display Whole Name

1
Can anyone help?

I teaching myself and setting up a business database at the same time.

I am having a problem when I want to display information from a table to a form using a lookup column.

This is what I have done so far...

If have created a customer table containing a first and last name amongst other fields.

The table is related to a booking table and I have related the primary key (customer ID) to the booking table. I have then created a booking form to nter the information.

What I want do is when I use the the customer ID in the booking form I want to select the customer and the first and last name to be displayed. At the moment all that is displayed is the first name.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Windows Vista and Access 2007

You've posted this discussion in the articles section, so I moved it to the forum to make it visible for all experts.

In Access 2007 you can first define in the relationship window the relation between Customer and Booking. When creatin a customer form Access will automatically add a subform for the Bookings. And when creating a Booking form a subform for the Customer will appear.
Afterwards you can use the wizard to place a subform and accept the proposed linking field. Afterwards you can change the default datasheet format in the properties into e.g. a single form (see Data tab) to "hide" the subform from the user.

Getting the idea ?
