/excl Problem

P: 2
I'm running a very simple Access 2K Runtime database on a small network of 3 users. The /excl switch works just fine for two of them, but the third PC ignores it and launches the program. Any idea what the fix for this is? All 3 are XP Pro machines.

Hi afsno,

I've moved your discussion to the forum so more experts will see it.

In general these type of problems are caused by missing references.
It's hard to see the missing references on a runtime PC, but to prevent trouble you could check the existing references (Open some VBA code of the .mdb and check under Tools/References) and make sure that each checked library is available on the trouble PC with the right version.

Thanks very much. On all counts. I'll check that.
