problems when using a front end of a split database

20
Hello,
I am using MS Access 2000 and am currently trying to split my database into a front end and backend. I've tried several times to split the database, and everytime, however, once I started to test the front end, I got a lot of errors with respect to the events in my database (ie/ On Dbl Click, After Update), as well as my code "disaappearing" for some strange reason. Please see the links for the types of errors I received:

Help! Thank you!

Hello,

I have split a database into a front end and a back end, however, when I go to test the front end, I get several errors. Please see the following errors below:

This error occurs whenever I go to use combo boxes, or buttons, etc controlled by macros:

This error occurs whenever I want to edit the code associated with a double click control or anything that needs to be done that's controlled by code. It's as if the code doesn't exist:

What am I doing wrong? Please help! Thank you!

It's difficult to say what might be causing these errors.

Can you open the linked tables directly from the frontend?

I've merged these two threads together. If your question doesn't get answered after a reasonable length of time then post a reply to bump it up the list.

Please don't double post.
