Sending a copy of the database

Hello;

I'm trying to send a colleague a copy of a database that I just built, so that she can install it on her computer. I can't e-mail it (my Outlook won't send it), and I'm having an inordinate amount of difficulty saving it to a CD. If I copy it onto the CD then I get a read-only error message (and I need it to be able to have data entered). I tried saving it to the CD as a replica, and it wouldn't accept that either (error message said to contact my systems administrator). Please help (if CD is not the best way to transport a database, what is??)

Many thanks,
BQG

It will be read only while it is on the CD but once it is transferred to the new computer it will be fine.

To email it you will have to create a zip file. Outlook doesn't like mdb or mde files. They block them in most cases.
