Charts in reports

There are a few reports that I need to make, they have to have charts. I have never worked with charts before. I need to make a bar graph that has M/F (lets start with the simple one) but when I use the wizard, all that shows up is the coutn of Males. I also tried to do a pie chart and there, too, got only males. What am I doing wrong?

What are you basing your chart/graph off of?

Give a list of fields you have and what you wish to display.

OK, I got htat part to work. I had to start the report with chart wizard rather than adding a chart to the report. There is a new graph I am working on where I want to show the length of jobs held, grouped by years, using Start Date and End Date, where sometimes End Date will be null, so i have to fill in this with Date() (I have done this on the report to get an average of time worked).
