Automatically adding records to one form from another

I'm using Access 2003 and have looked through this forum and found a few topics that are quite close but haven't given me the answer I need.

I have one form with just two fields (number & name) in them. When ever a new record is added to this table (through the form) I'd like to automatically add that record to another table with those two fields (plus other fields). Ideally, I'd like to do this for multiple tables. Where would the command go?

This database will be used by non-access-savey users so it would be best to not have any messages popping up that says things like "Ok to add new records?" which you would get with an update query.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there.

If this message is the only problem you can use
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DoCmd.SetWarnings False
to avoid it.
