opening more than one instance of a database

im looking to allow my database to be open in multiple instances, how
would i enable this?

If you plan to install the database on a network and allow multiple users to
access it, that's the wrong thing to do. You need to split the database and
give each user his own copy of the frontend.

i meant, how would I split the database. thanks for the responses, I
