Can any version of MS Access run in any versions of Linux?

No. Not unless you use a Windows emulator (even then I would expect some
issues).

I didn't feel brave enough to run any version of Access under the
Windows emulator in linux (wine). But I found that using Samba on
linux to host backend .mdb files is extremely stable and fast. After
opting out of using linux for that purpose, one company has spent over
$150,000 trying to get back to the same performance level that they
got from a $400 linux box on their original network.
