I am trying to re-install access after a user deleted the folder.
After entering the key the prohram verifies the install is going to
the c\program files\outlook directory and that there is enough space
on the hard drive. Next a window pops up saying that there is not
enough room on my E drive (cd-rom drive) to perform the install. I
have tried to remove the program and then have tried to clean the
registry. I even tried to install the program on another computer and
then copy the folder. Where should I look next? 5 1687

Microsoft has a tool to further remove any reference to Office. Try
search.microsoft.com.
Copying files around will NOT work.

Tried removal from the control panel. I walked into this job after
someone else had already tried to fix problem. I found no entry in the
Add/Remove programs module for Access. Access was installed as a
seperate module from Office as well. I tried your suggestion of the
Office removal tool from microsoft - it looks like a great resource,
but when run on a system with Access installed seperastely from
office, it doesn't show up as an available option to remove. Any other
ideas?

You might want to try MS's Windows Installer Cleanup utility (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301) to get rid of any other traces
of Access in the registry..
I'm assuming that the version of Office the user has does not include
Access.
What version of Office is it? What version of Access? Are you trying
to install Access from the original media (i.e. a standalone copy of
Access setup disk) or are you trying to add it using a copy of Office
that includes Access?
Bruce
It is Access 2003, a standalone version, the original install cd.

Have you tried uninstalling Office and Access, using the cleanup
utility I mentioned, then reinstalling Office, then reinstalling
Access? Also, I'd make sure that you have administrative rights on
the machine in question and be sure that disk quotas are not enabled
for your account (or that they are high enough to accommodate what you
are trying to do).
