Problems With Access 2003 Databases Under Vista

I'm experiencing the following intermittent problem with Access 2003
(Access 2000 file format) under Vista. Sometimes when I close a
database by closing the database window I get the following unhelpful
generic message: "Microsoft Access has stopped working. A problem
caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the
program.

The problem sometimes occurs when doing a compact and repair also.
One particular database gives the error every time when I close the
database window if a particular form has been opened. There is
nothing particularly unusual about the form. It contains a subform and
an image control.

None of the above occurs when using Windows XP. Are there known issues
with Access 2003 and Vista? Are there any others who are using Vista
and not experiencing any problems like the one I have described?

I just got a new computer with Vista Home and installed my Office 2003
on it. It got similar errors when entering VBA routines.
My problems were resolved by installing some Office updates - SP2 as I
recall.
Suggest you Google "microsoft office updates" and ensure you have all
updates applied.

Thanks for the reply Bob, however my Vista installation and Office
2003 have all updates applied.
