Left() Function Returning Zero Results

Any ideas why a simple Left([FldName],1) query would return no results. If the query is run without criteria it returns all records...thanks in advance.

We need to see your SQL for this, specifically how you're using the Left() function.

The goal is to pull a report which links the Accts to their respective Markets using the first 8 characters in the Acct.

Here's the approach so far...

DLookUp("[FldMarket]","[TblMarket]","[FldSysprin] = (Left([FldAcctNum],8))")

Thanks again.
