Access 2003 Report Help

P: 1
Hello there,

I've recently started using access more and I'm working on a report, which I need some help with.

I have the following tables linked together: Customers, Orders, Products & Categories.

Each product has the unit price excl VAT and a category assigned to it and in the catagory table I have the VAT field for that product. There can be more than 1 level of VAT, i.e 4%, 10% etc, for example one product could have VAT charged at 4% and another at 10% etc.

I'm trying to summarise for each customer the total vat added at each level for each order that customer has made and show this on my report, but I'm having problems doing this.

I'd be grateful if someone could help me to do this. TIA

1. Place your report in design view
2. Click the Sorting/Grouping Tool on the toolbar
3. Place the following 3 grouping levels
