Nested IF problem (MS Access VB)

LonelyBunny
The most unprobable issue will just pop-up when last expected..even as 'innocent' as a nested IF statement !

I am experiencing Nested IF statements problem chen coding. e.g:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. IF (meets a major condition) then
  2.    if (another condition) then
  3.      :
  4.      :
  5.    else
  6.      :
  7.      :
  8.    end if
  9. ELSE
  10.      :
  11. END IF
Simple situation but the compiler does not seem to be getting the nested if concept :-X and i get the error that there's this ELSE without IF statement.
Many thanks for helping me resolve this.

Can you post your code for us to take a look at?

Thanks!

If it were as you described it, then you would have no issue.
As theAybaras says, if you want us to help you find out what's wrong with your code, you're going to have to post it in here. Start off with the WHOLE of the procedure that the problem occurs in, even if you don't see the relevance of some of the code.
Don't worry though, we've most of us been there and found some of the strange things that cause these errors.
