Preview data when number and name of fields is unknown

P: n/a
In an mde with only custom menus

I use transferspreadsheet to transfer data from an Excel worksheet to a new
Access 2000 table and the users need to preview the data in the table. The
names of the fields and the the number of fields created in the table can be
different each time

I have a query based on table with the * in the first column and it displays
all the fields names and data OK

But I can't figure out how to close the query. I have a custom menu with
only Print and Close buttons on it but it only works with reports and you
have to name the fields on a report or form and I don't know the name and
number of fields in advance.

Is there any way to handle this?
