Program unable to capture Keypress Event

P: 4
Currently, my Access 2003 form only has 3 combo boxes with data sourced from different tables, a command button, a subform and 2 textboxes. Funny thing happened when I press the Enter key on the combo boxes and Access just omit the Keypress event.

What I have done: I added a msgbox line just to "halt" the program execution yet, sometimes it works but a lot of time it just have its own mind!! Next, I set the tab order next to each other and then set their individual tabstop property to no but activate it using code in the previous combo's lost focus property, assigned a setfocus on the new combo then have it dropdown property set on. Hell no, it just don't respond. Then, I added a check null procedure on the Got Focus event and all i got was the a one-time flashing of the dropdown combo box.

So, why does the program behaves in this way? Please help.
