Open Report as a Form

Hello

I'm creating a database application to manage our training centre. This includes registering candidates on courses\programmes.

I have a table (‘registrations’) that holds this information with two key fields. 'CandidateCode' and 'ProgrammeCode'. To view the registrations created in this table i have set up a form allowing the user to select a candidate from a combobox. This in turn will open another form which I want to display all the programmes that the candidate is registered on.

I understand how to produce a form using the value from the combo box as criteria to only show programmes linked with a certain 'candidatecode'.

But i want to have this information on a form, this is to allow the user to select a a programme from the list which, with the 'candidatecode', will allow the user to open another form showing all the details related to the record in the ‘registrations’ table via the 'canididatecode' and programmecode'.

I hope that’s clear, please ask for more explanation if required. I’m open to all suggestions and comments; perhaps you have a better way of selecting and showing the information? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You have (accidentally) posted this question in the Access Articles section. This is NOT an article.
I'm moving this to the main Access questions forum.

When you've done some experimenting with the forms, come back and let us know what you're stuck on. There's little point in giving advice at a stage when you're learning fast for yourself anyway.
Good luck.

No problem - A lot of members do so. We know we need to rearrange things to make it less likely to happen.
