Auto save record left by user in Edit mode.

P: 1
We are using Access database in multi-user environment. In some instance when user is modifying the record, it's left in edit mode (shows pencil in the record seletor) which prevents other user to update different record. The default values in the "Option" (Update Retry Interval...) does not seems to work. How do I resove this issue? Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks in advance.

Try setting: Tools ==> Options ==> Advanced ==> Open Database using record level locking.
