using parameter values entered by user

Good Sunday to all! I am trying to do some magic on a report.

I have a report that is based on a query, which when activated, prompts the user for a range of "end dates". I want these dates to appear on the form w/out having to "re-enter" them in the prompts for the text boxes I created for them on the report.

since there is only one field called end dates I do not know how to do this can anyone shed some light my way....pretty please?

Thanks a ton!

Sophie,

1.Place 2 unbound textboxes, named txtEndDate1 and txtEndDate2, on your form.
2.Set the format property of the two textboxes as a date format.
3.In the criteria row of the date field in your query, put the following expression, replacing the generic form and control names with their actual names.

Between Forms!YourFormName!txtEndDate1 And Forms!YourFormName!txtEndDate2

4.Delete the parameter prompts that are in your report.
