Passing data to Subforms

I apologies If I am asking a question thats been covered before, but I have spent an agae searching.

Essentially I have a main form and a subform. The main form carries a field called "CustCode" which is the primary key, and has a one to many relationship with the subform.

The subform has further subforms in it, and has a field called "Site Code" again a primary key with one to many relationship with its child forms.

As the site code is simply the custcode with a suffixed character, A, B C, etc i have been attempting to have the SITECODE field autocomplete once the CUSTCODE has been filled out by the user. But I am having problems getting the data to pass to a subform.

Can anyone help with where to start, have looked at DLOOKUP etc

Many thanx

Hi Adrian

I assume from what you have said that the table behind the subform doesn't have a foreign key which is the same value and datatype as CUSTCODE in which case your problem is with your table relationships. You can't relate CUSTCODE to SITECODE because they are not the same.
