Calcuate time differenecs for MS ACCESS.

Hi all,


I have been trying to calculate the difference between two date and display the difference in hours and minutes (HH:MM). i need the query codes for Ms Access. please help

To do this StartDate and EndDate have to be Date data type with format in the field definition set to General Date

int(datediff("n",StartDate,EndDate)/60) & ":" & datediff("n",StartDate,EndDate)mod 60  

You calculate the hour part

int(datediff("n",StartDate,EndDate)/60)

add the colon then calculate the minute part

datediff("n",StartDate,EndDate)mod 60
