Use selection from one combo box as default for another

P: 1
Two tables:
People - name - peopleID - placesID
Places - location - placesID

1st box the user selects a record from "People". I'd like to use the placesID field in each record to set the default location in the second box to the placesID selected in the first box. The user can still use the combo box to change the location, but this should not alter the default on "People".

Where is the choice/ouput of the second combo box (temporary location) supposed to go? A third table?

In the 2nd ComboBox, set the value to be the relevant field from the first. I'm afraid your question is so non-specific, that I can't answer more explicitly.
This would be done in code in the AfterUpdate event procedure of the 1st ComboBox.
