You can go into the form properties and set Data Entry to "YES" and save the form.

Now when you open the form, it will come up with nothing but a new record to be filled in. If you need to later view the table data within the form, you can set Data Entry back to "NO" in the form properties.

Hope this helps!

Here is another method:
---------------------------------------
Go to Startup properties on the Access command menu and designate your splash screen as the form you want to be your startup form that will boot up as soon as the Access application icon is clicked. there are other startup properties as well.

On the close event of the splash screen, execute the following command:
DoCmd.OpenForm "YourDataEntryForm", , , , acFormAdd
