Group Totals on Report

I am grouping certain sections of data in a report but whenever the group footer lands at the top of a new page it doubles the amount it should be. For example, if there was a detail line totals $1800, when the group footer prints at the top of the next page, it makes the amount $3600. The detail area shows the right amount but it's counted twice by the group footer.

The only work around is to change page margins to get it to fit differently on a page. Is there any way to keep the last detail of the group with the group footer similar to how you keep the first detail with the group header?

That shouldn't happen if you have the right expression in the group footer...As illustrated. Note that the expression for the footer has the equal sign and Sum and the detail line does not.

Detail Line>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> fldAmount

Group Footer >>>>>>>>>>>> = Sum([fldAmount])
