scanning a barcode into microsoft access form

107 100+
I am scanning a barcode into first textbox on a microsoft access form.
When I scan barcode - the number does not appear in textbox. When I tab to next textbox - it appears. Is there a way to have it show up in textbox right after I scan it?
also can the next textbox have the focus too.

Or do you have to tab?
Thank you
