How many transactions per second can access handel before SQL server is required?

How many computer can connect to a split database in access at once?

  1. The number of Transactions per Second which Access can handle would depend on so many variables, I would not even attempt to venture a guess. Personally, I never even heard of this statistic existing.
  2. The Maximum Number of Concurrent Users in Access 2000 is 255. I'm not sure if this number is the same or higher in greater versions.
