Moving Record Duplicates

gregoryt2002
I need to search one of my database tables and move all the duplicate records into a new table.

Is there an easy query to do this?

Thanks

You can't really move a record, you'll have to do an append and delete and maybe another 2 appends depending on what you want.

I currently have a table called 'Attendees' which contains duplicate records. Due to the fact I imported the information from lots of spreadsheets there is duplicate names but that does that mean that the rest of the information for the record is duplicated. Hope that makes sense.

I want to do a query to filter all the dupliacte records into a new table so that I can then check what info it present for the duplicates and delete as necessary.

There's a query wizard to find duplicate records.
