expressions, subforms and tables

P: 32
hi all,

on my main form, i have a subform, which comes from an expression on a query.

I also have a table, with only 1 entry, which is not linked to any other table. I never want to have more than 1 entry.

On the main form (which holds the subform), i wish the value of the expression to be saved into the table, overwriting what was origionally in there.

You will have to clarify what you are looking for. What is this expression what field and of what datatype do you want to save this value to? Do you just want to save to the current record?

Try to clarify as much of your problem as you can and we will try to help.

If I understand you correctly (hard as your question is quite unclear), you could bind the subform to this table, but disallow additions.
