Installing Office 2000 service releases

ARC
I'm trying to switch from Access 97 to Access 2000, and have installed the
base product. Now I'm trying to apply the SR-1, 2 and 3 patches for Office
2000. When I attempt to update office to SR-1, I get the following message:

Error 1321. The installer has insufficient priveleges to modify the file
d:\system\MSRECR40.DLL

This is strange, because D:\ is the cd-rom, so natrually it wouldn't be able
to modify a file on the cd. Anyone know what to do?

Many Thanks,
