Sorting Data in a report

P: 26
Hi Everybody

Is there a way when one can sort data in a report according to one's choice and not ascending or descending alphabets or numbers?

e.g.,
The sorting should be done in the following order of designations:-

President
Vice President
Director (Mfg)
Director (Fin)
Director (HR)
Advisor (mfg)
Advisor(Fin)
Advisor(HR)
and so on.

All Directors & advisors can be clubbed together with their internal sorting alphabetically.

PLease help.

Regards

What you'll have to do is create a ranking field and sort by that field instead.
