Help: I need to create a crosstab report

Hi,
I've a corsstab query that returns sothing like the follwing
col1 col2 col3 col4
row1 data11 data12 data13 data14
row2 data21 data22 data23 data24
row3 data31 data32 data33 data34
row4 data41 data42 data43 data44

I need to create a report based on this query, and I need this report to be felxable to add or remove any some columns

The only way I know of to do this is to create a query using your Crosstab that you can modify using a query definition.

Reports are static and display what you put into them. You can't arbitrarily add or remove fields and keep your formatting and grouping in the process. (at least it's way too much trouble.)

I would suggest you lay out the possible combinations of columns that you want, and create a report for each. Then you run the report based on the query that matches the column layout.

example:
Select Column1, column2, column4 from yourcrosstab;

then build a report on this.

then create a listbox or combo box to select your column layout combinations and open the appropriate report based on the selection.
