I want to limit the products displayed in a drop down list to certain criteria

Hi There

Im using access 2003 and have created a form for entering orders.

In the database I have a table of products which is displayed in a subform
Users have to scroll through large volumes of products and I'd like the drop down list in the subform to be limited to only those products that are linked to a particular supplier.

for example: Each order is given to us by a certain supplier, the supplier id is entered in the main form, when the user clicks into the subform, a drop down list of products is displayed, Id like the list to only display products that the supplier entered supplys

Can you advise the easiest way to do this

If the data is related, this is pretty simple.

in your combo box, click out to the right of the Rowsource property there's a ... there.
it will open a query window displaying your rowsource. Switch to SQL view and paste it in here and we can adjust it to include a criteria that looks at the main form's Supplier ID. This is assuming there's a linking field in your proucts table.
