Record selection problem, two linked subforms

TD
I have a main form which is unbound. On this form I have two subforms
that are linked thru an unbound textbox on the main form. Both both
of the subforms are in datasheet view. This setup work great, whenever
I select a record in subform1 subform2 is populated with the records
for the item selected in subform1. The problem is with subform2. If,
say it has three items showing, if I select the second item down the
list it stays selected for half a second then item one is selected. I
have checked everywhere in my code but cannot find anything that
forces subform2 to be requeried, which is what looks like is
happening. Any ideas?

Thanks,
TD

Is anything setting the recordsource of subform2? (this causes an automatic
requery)

No, it's recordsource is a select statement that uses a where clause
that reads the value of the unbound textbox on the main form. The
value in the textbox is not changing.

Thanks for answering though...

Ok, is there any code in subform2's OnCurrent event? How about code in the
leftmost column's OnEnter or OnFocus events?
