Is there anyway I can have a subform in a continuous form in Access 2003?

Regards

Hmm, never tried it. I suppose you could try putting it in the header or footer so it doesn't get repeated for every record.

I want it to be repeated in every form.

Moreover i tried to put it in DEtail section and the message was that "You cannot have a subform in a continuous form" and the property automatically changed to 'Single Form'

Then no, you can't do that. Having a subform repeat itself on a continuous form kinda defeats the purpose of the continuous form doesn it?

The continous form is to show multiple compact records. A subform would take up a lot of space.

Actually what i wanted that as soon as the data is entered in the form, after updating it, the subform would display the changed status (closed or open) which is done dynamically and not stored in any field. This would help in knowing the status as closed or open next time anyperson uses it.

Is there anyway it can be done.

Well I have no idea how you determine if it's closed or open so I have no idea if it can be done. But I'm sure there's a way.
