Updating Records

10
Hi

I have a subform where the user make changes to several filtered records in view.
when clicking the updating button, I run the update query to perform some calculations and update the table for only those filtered records.

however with an update query, its only updating to the first record in view.

any workaround for this problem?

much appreciated

I get the impression you're updating "calculated fields".
That's a bad practise and you should remove those fields from your table.
The general approach in a case like this is to use the calculations in a query when you need the result. That way the values will always be "inline" with the data.

To update a filtered set for a certain value (entered "outside" the filtered (sub) form) you can create a query dynamically in code, but take my advise not to store calculated data.
