mousehook on a laptop

I used the mousehook.dll in access 2000 to disable the mousewheel with
success.
I now got the problem when pressing the mousewheel on a laptop. This
function is disabled on a "normal" PC but not on a laptop!

Need for help.

Odds are your laptop does not generate the standard MouseWheel messages that
a normal Mouse does(touchpad vs scroll wheel.
You would have to determine the exact Message(s) generated by your
Touchpad(using Spy++) and modify the MouseWheel class accordingly.

Alternatively, you might want to have a closer look at the Mouse/TouchPad
setup on your laptop. There may be an option to modify the behaviour of the
TouchPad.
