That article came with a downloadable sample. Run it. Observe no

Help with with the API - Calling Windows Choose Font Dialog
Found on The Access Web
http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0061.htm
The code was originally written by Terry Kreft,
and modified by Stephen Lebans and many thanks to them
Problem - If I don't close the font window and select another option
button or try and close my program with the font window open the
system locks up.
I need some way of either forcing the user to close the font window
before moving to another location or closing the API through code.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.- Hide quoted text -

The font window shuts properly in my code when closed by user
properly. When user tries to close the program without shutting the
font window or tries to access another option button the open font
window is hidden. Without closing the font icon on the toolbar the
system freezes. As the test program supplied on the database does not
have other options you cannot see this but if you try and close
without shutting the font window the computer seems to lock up on the
test program
