Ifs and Checkboxes

I have a form, and I wish to see if a check box is checked.
So, looping through all the controls, I isolate the checkboxes as below,
and then i want to do another task if the check box is selected. The bold
code below however results in error error 438. If anyone is able to
show me how to do this it would be great. Thanks.

If TypeOf c Is CheckBox And c.Value = -1 Then
do something
Else: End If

This should do the trick:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Dim ctl As Control
  2.
  3. For Each ctl In Me.Controls
  4.   If ctl.ControlType = acCheckBox Then
  5.     If ctl.Value Then
  6.       'indicates a selected Check Box
  7.       MsgBox ctl.Name & " is selected!"
  8.     End If
  9.   End If
  10. Next
