AccessXP

When my AccessXP opens, all I get is a blank screen with the menu at the
top. The splash screen appears momentarily the disappears. Options under
Tools is disabled. What do I have to do to return to normap where I get the
splash screen, the dialog to choose one of the last four mdbs to open and
Options under Tools is enabled?

Thanks!

It is certainly not a case of your inadvertently setting the options for
that behavior; something is wrong with your Office/Access installation, or
with some DLL(s) outside of it that it uses. I am reluctant to suggest that
you uninstall and re-install Office because so often the problem is external
and all that does is waste time. On the other hand, I don't know what else
to suggest. Maybe one of my colleagues here will have some useful
suggestions.
