Change Field & Font Colors Using Code

8
My dilemma is as follows. I have a continous form that I am using as a Visual Display Form to show the status of records (SoeCodes). What their status currently is and what they have been. I have 6 Yes/No check boxes (status). I am wanting to change color depending on which of the 6 check boxes is checked and I want to leave each checkbox checked. My form is a continuous form and since I need 6-7 colors Conditional Formatting will not work. I can change the color of the fields with code but since this is a continuous form it is changing the field for every record on the form and not just the record I am on. Any suggestions how to do this and restrict it to the record I am currently on.

My check boxes are:

SoeError
SoeFixed
Rework
Pending
Approved
Completed

My Fields that change color are

Pri
Form #
Process
Soe_Code
Date(only caption)
Needed
Assigned

Denburt,

I will review what you have sent the link for and check it out. It looks pretty complicated but I will definitely look at it and I thank you for your reply.
