I need more detail. As far as creating a report goes, I would create a temp table, and dump my results from the vba code into it and base my report of that.

don't know fi thats what you are looking for

I was thinking along the same lines, creating a table called date, with the fields 'startdate' and 'enddate' and then use the code to try to polpulate the cells thus:

startdate = InputBox(Prompt:="Enter the start date" & vbCrLf & "ie 01/01/2006

[dates].[startdate] = startdate

the contents never get written in the table and if i spoof it by putting dates in the manually, the query still doesn't pick them up.

Where am i going wrong?
