Is there ANY code to correct this problem??

I have a situation with my DB. I added a couple of columns to a certain table, which apparently affected many forms, rendering them inoperable. Therfore, i would like to know if there is any code out there that would help me apply changes to my DB such as add columns and tables with out causing other major errors in the DB like currently.

Some guy looked at it, and suggested it was a problem with the coding. In specific he said some conventional naming code that is preventing me from making changes. He tried to loacte the files that hold these codes, but was unsuccessful. So, i figured if there were code tha could enable me to add columns with out affecting the operation of the DB or this particular limitation.

Reason been, i would like to be able to add a little more funcionality to the DB.

I hope this information helps.

I see no circumstance in which adding a couple of Columns to a Table would render Forms inoperable. If you changed the Names, Data Types, etc. of existing Fields, this could easily happen since the underlying RecordSources for Forms would now be different. Please supply more details.
