Where do I add reports and queries to be used by all the database users

TB
Hi there,

I have the scenario where we have a corporate database with a Front
End DB's on the client pc's and the Back END (BE residing on the
server.

I am writing queries and creating reports that must be used by the
different client pc's.

Now my question is, Where do I upload the reporst/Queries/Forms/
Tables etc, on the Front End Database or on the Back End Database?

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Tables etc, on the Front End Database or on the Back End Database?
On the FE - the BE should contain your tables only.

In order to provide your users with new functionality you will have to 'give' *all of them* a new FE.
Or ... you will need to import all the new/changed object in all the FE's
Or ... you must believe in magic ;-)

If you have changed your tables you will need to update the BE also.

Yes - every user should have his own FE.
There are some utilities available which you might find useful - e.g. Tony's
Auto FE Updater
