Is there an Access 2002 event for when a form query is finished?

I have a form with a subform. The code of the parent form alters the "Recordsource" property of a subform. Altering this property automatically triggers the subform to requery a table that has lots of records (so it takes a few seconds). I need to know when the subform query is finished before allowing the code in my parent form to continue. Is there an event that captures when a form query is finished?

Under a different posting a couple days ago, I asked about finding a way to pause the processing of the main form (to give the subform time to finish its query), but that approach didn't work.

Thanks,
Scott

In your subform load event or where ever you apply the requery. Follow it with a

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DoEvents
command. This should process the query before continuing with any code.
