You know how on the Northwind database when you click on the employees in the employee list for it opens up the employee detail form and displays some of the info and lets you fill in more. well i would like to do that with my project list. thanks to help yesterday (thanks again) i made a project list table and report. now i made a split form like they did on northwind and i would like to have it so when i click on the id of the project that is opens up a new tab and imputs all that information in another form. i looked at the macros on northwind and changed them accordingly but mine doesnt seem to work. do i need to make that one query and if so i guess i dont understand how they imput their info. and also is there a macro i dont know ab that i need to modify. please help! thanks again

whenever you open the 'contacts' template the first page that loads up is a form called Contact List. well i changed that form and called it List of Projects because that is what it is doing. but now whenever the database opens it searches for the name of that file and i dont know how to fix that. sad times :(

So you're saying it automatically tries to open that form on open? It can be in one of two places, either it's in the autoexec macro or it's in Tools > Startup
