overtyping field with formula

Zac
Hi,

I have field in a form that calculates a value (field is defined in a
query).
How can I overtype the result of formula?! I have to save data in a table or
....
That field is a part of calculations in other fields.

As you may know you can't write to a query, that's what you are trying
to do essentially.
A workaround may be an "Edit" button next to the field, which opens an
input box(another form) with a submit button. Enter your new value,
and on clicking submit, have an update query run for whatever field
your trying to write to.
