drop list problem

hi all !

i have a drop down list of names on a form.
the problem i have is that the users of this are typing in there own
text instead of choosing from the drop down list of names.
how can i lock this list so that they can only choose from the list
and not type what ever they want to ??

any help would be great as this is causing major problems with some
reports !!

thanks
brino

Set the combo's Limit To List property to Yes.

Ultimately, you probably want to create a table that has the valid lookup
values, and then create a relation with referential integrity enforced
(Relationships on the Tools menu.)
