Returning Query Results into a created form

5
I have a a query "Structure ID" set up where Access asks the user to enter the structure ID. Is there a way to return the results of the query into an already made form? Thank you.

Use the query as the record source for the form.

Thanks for the info.

One last question. I have 2 fields, a structure ID field and a street name field

When the user inputs the street name, a list of Structure IDs appear for everyone that there is on that particular street.
(ie. main st might have 5 different Structure IDs)

Basically, my goal is to have each structure ID on its own form with the street name. Is there a way to have the list of structure IDs and the user can click which one he/she wants and have it appear on a form by itself?

Thank You,
Dave

You can just use this in the On Click event of the listbox, or however you want them to activate the form:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. DoCmd.OpenForm "[Form Name]",,, "[Structure ID] = " & Me.ListboxName.Column(0)
The last parameter tells it to filter the records that are viewed from the form.
This will work if Structure ID is the first column of your listbox. If not, change 0 to Column # - 1.
