connection with the database:MS ACCESS

hi all,
i am new in MS ACCESS Forms. i am not able to connect with the data base which is itself ms access .
can any one help me how can i connect. what r the steps to make a connection or any connection string.

Do you mean you are trying to connect to the database from another database?
can you be a bit more clear :)

You get me puzzled too, normally tables are linked. Forms just use tables and then it doesn't bother or the table they're build with are linked or not.

i am using access forms as the front end. how should i link it with the dabatase named db1.mdb. how should i enter any value in the table tb1 in the database db1.mdb. i'm confused. do i need to write any connection strings to connect as in visual basic?

Just use the File/Get externaldata/Link tables menu. The file dialog will appear and you can navigate to the db1.mdb database.
Select that .mdb and you'll get the list of tables you can connect to.
Press OK and the linked tables will be added.

That's all.
